Hefei High-tech Zone held an enlarged meeting of the Security Committee for the second quarter of 2015

On the afternoon of June 10, Hu Hongtong, member of the Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee, presided over the enlarged meeting of the Second Quarter Safety Committee of the High-tech Zone. The heads of each member unit of the District Safety Committee attended the meeting, and the heads of 30 key enterprises in the park attended the meeting. At the meeting, the person in charge of the District Safety Committee Office reported on the recent major accidents that have occurred across the country, and conveyed and learned the spirit of General Secretary Xi’s instructions on production safety; the person in charge of the District Safety Supervision Bureau reported the safety production situation in our district this year, conveyed the provincial and municipal Safety Committee Office’s "Emergency Notice on Further Strengthening Current Safety Production Work", and arranged and deployed the current key work on safety production; the Construction and Development Bureau, the Traffic Police Brigade, the Social Affairs Bureau, the Fire Brigade and other units also made exchange speeches. Hu Hongtong fully affirmed the district's production safety work in the first half of the year. At the same time, it was pointed out that although the safety production situation in the High-tech Zone is generally stable, safety hazards in various places and fields have not been fundamentally investigated and managed, and accidents occasionally occur.

These all show that there is a fluke mentality in safety production, and there are phenomena such as insufficient system construction, insufficient responsibilities, insufficient management measures, and insufficient education and training. Hu Hongtong put forward specific requirements for the next step of safety production work: first, we must strictly implement the responsibility system of "the party and government share the same responsibilities, one post has two responsibilities, and joint management", always tighten the string of safety production, and further implement industry supervision responsibilities and corporate main responsibilities; second, we must strengthen safety publicity. It is necessary to combine the "Safe Production Month" activities with various forms of safety warning education activities to mobilize the broad participation of the whole society; third, in view of the current high temperature, flood season and other key periods, increase the intensity of hidden danger investigation and management and various special rectifications, continue to carry out safety production inspections, highlight the supervision of key industries and key areas, and strictly investigate accident liability; fourth, we must enhance emergency response capabilities, properly handle accidents, and achieve rapid response and proper disposal at the first time.
