Anhui Anda Huatai New Materials Co., Ltd. Environmental Emergency Emergency Drill

On the afternoon of November 26, 2015, the high-tech zone’s 2015 key enterprise environmental incident emergency drill observation and training work meetings were successfully held at Anhui Anda Huatai New Materials Co., Ltd. and Gree Electric Appliances (Hefei) Co., Ltd. respectively. Municipal environmental emergency experts were invited to provide guidance. Nearly 100 people from the district environmental protection bureau and key pollutant-discharging enterprises in the park attended the observation and training meeting.

First, the participants conducted on-site drills and observations at Anhui Anda Huatai New Materials Co., Ltd. The drill was based on the company's hazardous chemical acetone leakage and fire. After the accident, the emergency team quickly initiated emergency response procedures. Under the unified command of the on-site headquarters, relevant departments and teams actively conducted rescue operations and disposed of pollutants. With the fire source extinguished, the leakage point successfully blocked, and the remaining pollutants covered by sand and soil, the risk of environmental pollution on site has been eliminated, and the leakage accident has been dealt with.

After the subsequent evaluation, all departments responded quickly, cooperated closely, and handled scientifically, and controlled the spread of pollutants in a timely manner. After an on-site assessment by environmental emergency experts, the accident had no impact on the atmosphere, water, soil and groundwater outside the factory area. The purpose of this event is to train the emergency response capabilities of the emergency response team, find defects in the emergency system and correct problems in emergency response, ensure timely and effective handling of environmental emergencies under the new situation, and protect environmental safety to the greatest extent.
